Calculation formula
Section area = length × width; total floor area = the sum of all completed rectangular sections.
Example: A 5 × 4 m first section gives 20 m². A second section of 2 × 1.5 m adds 3 m², for a total of 23 m².
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate an L-shaped room?
Split the plan into two or three non-overlapping rectangles and enter each set of dimensions. Do not overlap sections, or the shared area will be counted twice.
Can I enter only one section?
Yes. Leave the additional fields at zero and only the first rectangle will be included.
